The Co-operators is a Canadian cooperative and a leader in multi-product insurance and financial services.

The Co-operators is looking to explore new business models to better serve its clientele and achieve its mission (the financial security of Canadians), and this requires strategic choices, especially with regard to the following communities: immigrants, aboriginal peoples, students, and so on.

The project aims to improve the process of creating territories (which attempt to capture the spatial component related to an auto insurance risk). The aim of the project is to develop a tool for extracting the main themes of discussions on public forums that can be integrated into an application by The Co-operators’ IT resources.
