The research work of Christian Gagné and Flavie Lavoie-Cardinal featured in a video clip
The research work carried out by our director Christian Gagné and our member Flavie Lavoie-Cardinal was highlighted in a video clip recently launched by Université Laval: an opportunity to discover how machine learning can be combined with medical imaging.
A new video clip of about 60 seconds, in which professors and researchers Christian Gagné (Faculty of Science and Engineering) and Flavie Lavoie-Cardinal (Faculty of Medicine) summarize their joint research work.
The two IID members are collaborating together to develop image processing methods based on deep learning, which render microscopes even more intelligent and efficient. The objective is thus to improve medical image analysis, especially at the molecular level.
