Alexandre Campeau-Lecours received the B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics) from École Polytechnique de Montréal, Québec, QC, Canada, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree from Université Laval, Québec, in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, he was a Research and Development Project Manager in control and robotic algorithms at Kinova. He has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Université Laval, since 2020. His research program is in rehabilitation engineering and focuses on the development of assistive technologies (based on robotics and mechatronics) for people living with disabilities and the elderly.
