Data Scientist, Institute Intelligence and Data (IID)

Camille Besse is an AI scientist at IID (Institute Intelligence and Data) at Université Laval.

Camille Besse obtained a Ph.D. in sequential decision-making in an uncertain context and has several years of experience, both in research and student supervision, as well as in teaching. He specializes in offering support and developing solutions adapted to the needs of both academic and industrial partners. He has been the Project Manager of the IID Internship program within the Professional Master’s degree in Computer Science – Artificial Intelligence since its creation and he actively works to ensure that the internship program will continue to flourish. He also has a keen interest in raising awareness on the ethical issues of secondary use of data, particularly in industrial settings.
