Mir Abolfazl Mostafavi is a Full Professor in the Department of Geomatics at Université Laval. He is a regular researcher at the Centre de recherche en données et intelligence géospatiales, CRDIG (Geospatial Data and Intelligence Research Centre) of which he was scientific director in 2010-2016. He is also a regular researcher at the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire en réadaptation et en intégration sociale, CIRRIS (interdisciplinary research center in rehabilitation and social integration) of Université Laval. He directs a research laboratory on intelligent and inclusive mobility funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI).
His research interests focus on the design and development of new geospatial methods and technologies to respond to complex issues associated with the development of cities and smart and the development of inclusive mobility involving an ecosystem approach.
